But these flourishes don't mask mediocre performance, especially in the refrigerator's freezer and an ineffective temperature-controlled drawer. The refrigerator is expensive and I expected more.

This fridge is a great choice, despite the blip. It features a large freezer compartment, which is unusual for counter-depth French-door refrigerators. It also has a large capacity for frozen food, which is a big difference from other models.

Inside the fridge, there are 17 shelves and compartments. The fridge compartment offers 18.5 cubic feet of space, which is roughly on what you would expect from an French door fridge costing this much. It also has a decent-sized icemaker in the left door, though it's not the largest I've seen.

You can alter the shelves in both compartments to create a an individual storage solution. The interior design of the GE PYE22PYNFS is good-looking, too. Its LED lighting is a nice touch, and the in-door storage bins have an additional shelf that folds down so that you can store items that are tall. The drawers come with temperature controls so that you can set them for Beverage, Meat or Deli settings. They're easy to open and close, although I found their textured plastic coatings to be a little difficult on the fingers.

The GE PGE29BYTFS Smart Refrigerator has all the features you would expect from a refrigerator in this price range. It has Wi-Fi as well as app support and GE's SmartHQ Software. The app is available on iOS and Android devices and allows you to manage your refrigerator from anywhere around the world. It also has a lot of customization options. It also sends you notifications when the door is left unlocked, when the fridge or freezer needs to be defrosted, and when the filter needs to be changed.

It is nice if the GE PYE22PYNFS had Precise Fill, an option available in a few other GE fridges that allows you to choose how many cups of water you'd like to pour out at a time. It also has a countdown on the fridge display to display how much water have remaining, but that's not as effective as Precise Fill.

Bosch Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

The Bosch French-door Refrigerator is an impressive product. It's designed to look like a seamless piece of your kitchen. The fridge uses fingerprint-resistant stainless steel, which is a great feature for busy households. It also comes with a veggie compartment to keep fruits and vegetables fresher longer, and two compressors to ensure maximum food preservation. The Ice maker is among the best we've ever tested and produces a pyramid-shaped ice with a low water usage. This fridge is the perfect option for a single family or kitchenettes who want a built-in look and top of the line food preservation.

This fridge was rated as the most efficient in our Refrigerators Test for several reasons. The temperature of the freezer remained constant at just above 0° Fahrenheit and never fluctuated more than a fraction - this is crucial to prevent freezing burn. The refrigerator section of the fridge also did well. It reached the temperature it was set within a matter of hours, and remained at that temperature throughout our testing.

Bosch is known for its top-quality appliances. It's therefore no surprise that Bosch's counter depth fridge Bosch counter depth refrigerator can be connected to your home Wi Fi and Bosch's platform Home Connect. The app lets you monitor and control your fridge from your tablet or smartphone. The fridge is expensive, but it offers great features and capabilities for the cost.

It is important to know the limitations of your fridge. It has a narrow shelf space, so you'll need to be creative when storing tall objects. The upper right shelf can be folded down to give tall items more headroom. There's also a full-width deli drawer and an internal water dispenser.

One of the nice things about this refrigerator is that its ice maker is inside the freezer, which makes it simple to move frozen ice to the fridge to use as needed. The LG Counter-Depth MAX is a excellent choice for those who want to combine the advantages of a fridge with a French door with an efficient layout. Its capacity is superior to counter-depth models, and it cools evenly. It's also a bit less than the top counter-depth refrigerators that have an ice maker, which can make it an attractive option.

Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

This Frigidaire French door refrigerator is a great choice for those looking for a French-door refrigerator that doesn't cost a lot of budget. It's a basic refrigerator that might not be as appealing as some of its competitors, but it still has enough features to make a suitable option. Its most notable characteristic is the adjustable temperature drawer, which helps keep foods like meat and vegetables fresher for longer. It also comes with a large water and ice maker dispenser.

In my tests, I discovered that the temperatures of the refrigerator were fairly consistent in various parts of the fridge. The temperatures in the middle, top and bottom of the refrigerator did not differ much from 38 degrees. That's a good performance however it doesn't make it into the top ten in our ratings.

This fridge has a few other neat features, including a temperature-monitoring display that alerts you to fluctuations and provides a forecast for the day ahead. You can also connect this fridge to an intelligent thermometer to get more precise readings of your fridge's temperature.

The exterior of the Frigidaire is made from grey-bodied stainless that has a "smudge proof" finish. It repels fingerprints and streaks better than other stainless steel finishes I've tested.
